Triplet ED-Apochromaten

Apochromaten mit drei Linsenelementen werden auch gerne als Vollapochromaten bezeichnet, denn erst diese Teleskopbauweise kann die ungewünschten Farbfehler hinreichend korrigieren. Durch unterschiedliche Glasarten und Brechzahlen wird das sekundäre Spektrum, die chromatische Restabweichung, korrigiert. Die dreilinsigen ED-Apochromaten reduzieren die Farbfehler nahezu vollständig. Das Bild ist nicht nur klar und neutral, sondern besitzt auch einen besonders hohen Kontrast.
