The ThermTec Cyclops 635L 3.0 combines high-performance thermal imaging with a compact, ergonomic design and convenient one-handed operation. As the latest generation of the proven Cyclops series, this thermal monocular has been extensively refined in terms of both technology and handling. Detailed thermal images even in challenging conditions
At the heart of the Cyclops 635L 3.0 is a modern VOx thermal sensor with 640 × 512 pixel resolution and a 12 µm pixel pitch. Its high thermal sensitivity of less than 15 mK allows even very small temperature differences to be displayed with excellent differentiation. As a result, contours and fine structures remain clearly visible even when the temperature contrast between the target and its surroundings is low.
Combined with the exceptionally fast 35 mm F0.8 objective lens, the device delivers a high-contrast and detailed thermal image. The 50 Hz frame rate ensures smooth image reproduction when observing moving targets or panning across the scene.
Versatile 35 mm optics
With an optical magnification of 2.5×, the Cyclops 635L 3.0 provides a balanced combination of range and situational awareness. Its field of view is approximately 22 metres at a distance of 100 metres, making it suitable both for scanning larger areas and for more precise observation of distant targets.
A continuously adjustable digital zoom further expands the observation options and allows selected areas to be enlarged for closer inspection.
Measure distances directly in the thermal image
The integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) is compactly built into the device and enables fast distance measurement to the observed target. Especially in open terrain, this makes it significantly easier to assess distances accurately without the need for a separate rangefinding device.
Large AMOLED display for precise image assessment
The thermal image is displayed on a 0.5-inch AMOLED display with 1600 × 1200 pixel resolution. The high display resolution supports the fine detail provided by the 640-class sensor and ensures a sharp, high-contrast and comfortable viewing experience.
Various colour palettes allow the image display to be adapted to the individual observation situation and personal preferences. Additional functions such as picture-in-picture, hotspot tracking and photo and video recording further extend the range of applications.
Intuitive one-handed operation
One of the characteristic features of the Cyclops series is its intuitive handling. On the Cyclops 635L 3.0, focusing is controlled via a top-mounted finger wheel, which can be adjusted precisely with just one finger. This allows the focus to be changed quickly without having to move the second hand to the objective lens.
The compact, rubber-armoured housing sits securely in the hand and weighs approximately 470 grams, with dimensions of only 181 × 62 × 63 mm. With an IP67 protection rating, the device is also well suited to regular outdoor use in demanding weather conditions.
Replaceable batteries for extended operating time
Power is supplied by standard replaceable 18650 lithium-ion batteries. One battery provides up to approximately seven hours of operation in power-saving mode. With two batteries available, the operating time can be extended considerably by simply replacing the battery when required.
Recording, Wi-Fi and large internal storage
Photos and videos can be recorded directly with the device and stored on the 64 GB internal memory. Via the integrated Wi-Fi function, the Cyclops 635L 3.0 can also be connected to a smartphone or tablet. This allows users to view the live image and access stored recordings through the corresponding app.
