Teleskope Linsendesign Duplet

Fernrohre, die als Apochromaten mit Duplet-Objektiv bezeichnet werden, haben eine zweilinsige Objektivkonstruktion. In der Bezeichnung wird mittlerweile kein Unterschied mehr zwischen Halbapochromat und zweilinsigem Apochromat gemacht.

Als zweites Element wird meist ein ED-Glas (ED steht für "Extra low Dispersion") verwendet. Geringe Farbfehler sind dennoch sichtbar, da diese nur ein Vollapochromat aus dreilinsiger Konstruktion zu korrigieren vermag.
