The Uranometria represents one of the most extensive Star atlas for the amateur astronomer.
The maps contain approximately 280.000 stars to 9.75 magnitude, which are all continously tapered to create a more realistic perspective.
The atlas further shows more than 30.000 Deep-Sky-objects, 25.895 already being galaxies. Of course, other objects like galaxy clusters, open clusters, star clouds and many more are included.
Volume 2 - The Soutern Hemisphere to +6° shows the starry sky on 120 charts.
